The AI Edge Publisher

The AI Edge Publisher is a private, owner-operated application used by Damien Benveniste to publish original AI educational videos to YouTube channels he controls.

The application is not a public upload service and does not accept videos or accounts from third parties.

How it works

The application:

1. Receives an educational video approved for publication.

2. Verifies the identity of the authorized YouTube channel.

3. Uploads the video and its associated title, description, and publication settings.

4. Records the resulting video identifier and publication status to prevent duplicate uploads.

Google permissions

The application requests only the permissions needed to operate:

• youtube.readonly verifies the authenticated YouTube channel before publication.

• youtube.upload uploads approved videos to that channel.

The application does not read viewing history, comments, subscriptions, private messages, or unrelated Google Account information.

Data protection

OAuth credentials are stored securely using Google Cloud Secret Manager. The application does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

Authorization can be revoked at any time through Google Account connections.
